Pretty Pink Posh January Release Blog Hop

Hello friends! Pretty Pink Posh January release is live and believe me, you are going to love it!

There are so much cuteness is this release! I absolutely adore every single product, so I decided to create some projects with the new Layered Cherries Stencils and combine them with some other products from these release.

I started my project by securing a 6x6 inch paper to my Water Media Mat. For the first layer of this stencil I used Candied Apple Distress Oxide Ink. I applied it heavier in the lower part of the cherries and lighter in the upper part. Then I went on and applied Festive Berries just on the bottom of the cherries so as to make them darker.

Next up I applied Gathered Twigs Distress ink for the second layer and Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn for the third layer. The hardest part was to die cut this stencil. I used the Largest Scallop Oval die and die cut of the stencil. I adhered foam adhesive to the back of the Oval Die and place in onto an A2 panel die and then I adhered the inner part of the oval die.

I wanted to add some embellishments to this card so I applied the same colored I used on the stencils to the cherries dies from the Valentine Mug Additions.

Lastly I white heat embossed the sentiment from the set Potted Roses on black cardstock. I added some sparkling sequins and call this card done.

It was so fun that I decided to ink up another 6x6 inch panel with the same colors. This time I made a two for one card using the Scallop Heart die .

I turned this card into a shaker card and colored with copies the Sweet Cherries Stamp Set to add some extra sweetness. For the sentiment I used the new Hot Foil Hugs die using Gold Matte foil.

With the leftover stenciled pieces from the card I made another one:

This was really simple to pull together. I used adhered some colored Strips to the background and foam mounted the heart on top. I also used some cherries from the Sweet Cherries Stamp Set. The sentiment is from the set XOXO Stamp set.
