I have created several projects, featuring both the new shaker products and the other stamp sets and stand alone dies
My first projects feature the Shaker Star die and Shaker cover Puffy Star. I made two versions of the same card, one with the outline star cover and one without it.
I started off by creating this shiny background using Picket Fence Paper Glaze. My initial idea was to let this background shine as an accent to the star shaker elements. I adhered the Shaker cover Puffy Star to the back of the panel, added the beautiful sequin mix and closed the star with a bigger star die cut piece I had previously die cute. Soooo easy. Next I adhered the sentiment in silver foil cardstock and that was it.
Then I wanted to try a different look by dressing up the card a little bit with some extra elements. I used the dies from the Shaker Star die set and cut a frame out of white glitter cardstock.
I also added some snowflakes using the Galina's Snowflakes dies. These Shaker dies give you both options so you can play with them depending on what kind of look you are looking for.
I also made a couple of cards with the same look; with and without the outline diecut.
The first is a very CAS card, in fact so simple that I wanted to dress it up later on...
First, I ink blended my background in a kind of rainbow order but just the edges, trying to leave the center space white. Next I used the Jumbo Flower Pot set to stamp the image using the same colors I used for the background.
Then I adhered the Shaker cover Puffy cirle, added some chuncky glitter and closed the shaker panel die with a bigger circle. Lastly I glued this Happy Birthday sentiment from the same Shaker Circle die set in gold foil cardstock.
For the second version of this card I made the same background but this time I ink blended it with a heavier hand.
I die cut the sun outline using the Solar System die set and ink blended it using different shades of yellow. I added the eyes and the mouth and stamp the Hey Sunshine sentiment from the Solar System Sentiments Stamp set.
For my next project I used the Save the Date Heart die
To create my background I used the Tiny Heart Stencil and applied Snow Drop White Picket Fence Paper Glaze paste onto a Nina Dessert Storm A2 cardstorck. Once it was dried, I glued the diecut cut heart in white glitter cardstock and placed the Shaker cover puffy Heart adding some sparkling clear sequins and white glitter. As usual, I closed the shaker with a bigger die cut heart and embellised the pannel adding some flowers.
Lastly, I white heat embossed the sentiment from the Cheer Up Sentiment set and adhered it to the front panel. I trimmed it a little bit so the white cardbase was visible...
Using the same Shaker Cover Puffy Heart I made another project:
I used an 8 1/4 by 3 1/2 cardstock to create a slimline card. I cut out the hearts using the Shaker Heart Die and placed the Shaker Cover Puffy Hearts. I filled them with this mix of teeny tiny colorful stars.
Lastly I added the gold foil cardstock sentiment and adhered some gold glitter cardstock Butterflies.
I also made another shaker card using the Star Wish Panel Die:
I created my background using alcohol inks to make a galaxy background. Waffle Flower has also released Double Sided Adhesive Sheets so I used them to cover the front and the pack of a piece of white craft foam. I adhered the craft foam piece on top of my alcohol inked background and filled the star with clear sequins.
Next I adhered a piece of acetate on top and lastly I adhered another panel of the Star whish panel die.
The background was so intense that I didn't want to add any extra elements
For my next two projects, I used the Amaryllis Stamp Set:
I decided to go for a clean look so I simply white heat embossed this stamp set on Vellum. To add some interest to the card, I applied some distress inks directly to the front panel creating diagonal stripes. Lastly I die cut the centre using the Lacy Ovals die set and stamped the You're Doing Great sentiment from the Fresh Rainbow Stamp Set.
I made a second project with the same stamp set. Again I white heat embossed the Amaryllis flower on vellum and went ahead and made another shaker card:
This time I used colors that were more on the pastel side. I started off by inking an A2 panel and then place the Tiny Heart Stencil on top to ink again using the same colors. Next I die cut this panel using the Diagonal Stripes Die. I adhered the stripes and die cut an oval opening in the center using the Nesting Oval Frame dies.
I glued a piece of acetate on the back and placed and some foam adhesive to create dimention. I filled the center well with silver glitter and sparkling clear sequins and placed the flowers on top. Lastly I stamped the sentiment from the Essential Sentiments Combo set in Versafine Onyx Black ink applying clear embossing ink on top.
My next two projects feature the Oversized Hey Hi Hello die set.
I used the same technique as before; applying the Distress Mini Ink Cubes directly to the paper creating stripes:
I just adhered the HI die cut sentiment on top and decided to leave it white for a clean look. I dry embossed the front layer of the sentiment usiing the Holidays Stripes stencil to add some extra texture.
The next project is very similar to the previous one so to add a different touch, guess what? yes, I made it a shaker:
I created the background first and then die cut it using the shadow die from the Hello word to create the shacker. I just added some silver glitter on the well I created with foam adhesive so I thought I'd die cut the Hello die word out of white whitter cardstock for a cohesive look.
This technique is super fun and you can create a project in minutes!!!
I created another project using the Oversized Hey Hi Hello die. This time I paired it with the Butterfly Circle die:
I inked up two A2 panels in dark yellow and red. I used one of them to adhere to the cardbase adding some gold splatters on top. I used the other background to create this colorful butterfly. I also die cut it from white cardstock and inlaid the colored butterfly circle. I adhered some acetate on the back and create a well using foam adhesive:
Then I just added some silver glitter and clear sequins and placed the HEY sentiment on top. The word is cut out of white glitter cardstock and for the shadow I used vellum. As a final touch I added some small butterflies.
I made a second project using the same Butterfly Circle die. This time I die cut it from gold glitter cardstock and used the Shaker Cover Slim circles to create a shaker.
I adhered some colorful stripes I had in my stash. I love to use colorful stripes so I make sure I always have a bunch of them ready on hand ready to use. I cut out the stripped panel with one of the Slim Shaker Circles dies, placed the largest Shaker cover Puffy circle and filled it with with glitter.
Lastly I foam mounted on an A2 cardbase and adhered the sentiment in the center.
I made a very similar project, though this time I used the word die HI to create a shaker over the colorful stripes panel:
I deciced to add one of the girls from the Cheerleaders Stamp set on top of the letter i to make it a little bit more interesting.
I made two more very clean and simple projects using this stamp set:
I first created a background inking up the edges using a light hand and then adhered the cheerleades on top...
I had previously colored them with copics so I used the same colors of their clothes to create the background.
For this project I also made a shaker using the largest circle of the Shaker Circle die set and placed a panel I had also previously colored with Peacock and Twisted Citron Distress inks.
I copic colored the group of cheerleaders in rainbow order and placed them on top of the shaker panel. The sentiment is from the set Cheer Up Sentiments.
My last project features the Sunburst Panel die nd the Oversized Happy Stamp set.
This is also a very clean and simple project. I just ink blended the die cut piece using Distress Inks and adhered the word Happy on top using both white and silver glitter cardstock. I intentionally let the glitter cardstock show to add some interest to the sentiment.
I sprayed some Perfect Pearls mix I had and adhered some clear enamel dots on top.
